HCP eXchange is an international recruitment firm specialized in the healthcare sector. Our goal is to enable healthcare professionals to practice their skills beyond their home country’s borders. The automatic recognition of their degrees and competencies within Europe facilitates mobility in these fields.

Challenges: Language barriers, unfamiliarity with the host country, and the difficulties associated with expatriation. In some cases, a certain level of experience may be required.

What do we do?

Support with “HCP eXchange procedures”

From language preparation to the end of their experience abroad, we support healthcare professionals who wish to work internationally.

International recruitment requires structure. More than in traditional hiring, both recruiters and candidates must follow key principles to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

The HCP eXchange procedures help define the framework between candidates and healthcare institutions — including the duration of the experience and the conditions of integration.

For the host institution:

  • Commit to hosting either 3 healthcare professionals for 4 months each (HCP 3×4 scheme) or 2 healthcare professionals for 6 months each (HCP 2×6 scheme).
  • Provide future team members with housing that meets the standards set by HCP eXchange, in order to facilitate their relocation.
  • Implement a clear and well-defined onboarding process and offer progressive assignments, taking into account the candidates’ learning and adaptation phase.

For the hosted healthcare professional:

  • Work for 4 months in 3 host institutions that are partners of HCP eXchange or 6 months in 2 partner institutions.
  • Commit to learning the language of the host country, if not already proficient, according to a defined schedule in order to be operational upon arrival.

This program offers healthcare professionals a unique opportunity to discover several regions of the host country. This immersive experience allows them to decide where and how to continue their career, while also promoting the learning of new medical approaches and the exchange of best practices.

As HCP eXchange specializes in international recruitment and the mobility of healthcare professionals, it is essential that both recruiters and candidates adhere to certain fundamental principles to ensure the best possible experience for both parties.

The eXchange does not refer to a reciprocal exchange of healthcare professionals between countries. It refers to an exchange of knowledge and professional practices.
